WD 3 terabyte Hard Drive

WD has announced a three terabyte hard drive the size of a passport. 500 GB, 750 GB and one TB versions are also available for those who don’t need the massive amount of data storage that three TB has, but it’s always better to be safe than sorry! The hard drive has a USB 2.0 and introduces a USB 3.0, which allows up to three times faster data transfer than the 2.0. The hard drive also has the same sleek black design that has been the staple of many WD products. According to the press release, the new product comes in various colors including black, silver, metallic blue and metallic red. It uses WD SmartWare visual backup software. This will be on my Christmas list.
